The Douglas Company kicked off construction on the Beach House at Wiregrass Ranch

The Douglas Company, general contractor, kicked off construction of the Beach House at Wiregrass Ranch. The USD 14,65 million assisted living and memory care community, owned by developer Prevarian Senior Living will be the first of its kind in Wesley Chapel, Florida.

The Beach House at Wiregrass Ranch will be a 93 360 sq. ft. community for seniors who need assistance with daily living activities, and will also provide specialized memory care services for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The community is expected to accommodate 100 area seniors with private residences, including 67 one and two bedroom configurations for assisted living, and 33 suites for memory care residences.

Designed by Architectural Concepts, residents will enjoy a host of amenities at the Beach House. Amenities will include a restaurant-style dining room, a private dining area for residents and their family, a bar & lounge, activity and sitting rooms, wellness center with exam room, laundry room, Wii alley room, arts & crafts room, salon and spa, chapel, movie theater and outdoor living areas.

The senior living community, with an expected completion of November 2017, will be situated in a mixed-use development which will consist of residential, retail, industrial, hospital, educational, office, and recreational businesses. The Beach House at Wiregrass Ranch is being developed to support community growth, while still preserving a neighborhood lifestyle for residents.
